JAUJAC
This village is situated about 1 hour north from Banne, but really worth the journey. It has three chateaux's one of which homes the 'Maison du Parc' for the mountains of the Ardeche (there is a great visitors center and a walk with several points of interest). You can also see a roman bridge in Jaujac and visit a volcano! Jaujac also has a natural source of sparkling spring water and you can taste some as it comes up and out of the ground. The village center is very pleasant, there are regular markets and a great centre square with bars and cafes.
